How often do you witness individuals at public pools or fast food establishments where their support staff are distracted by their phones rather than engaged? That's not how we operate.
Our team is committed to empowering participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to lead fulfilling lives. We strive to ensure they find purpose, forge connections, and feel cherished within their social circles and broader community.
We extend a warm invitation for inquiries from our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members.
Our services, while deeply rooted in Polynesian culture, resonates with the broader experiences of those with disabilities striving for acceptance and equality within their communities.

Over the years, I've worked primarily as a community mental health support worker with various agencies around Perth.
In my spare time I get into nature and the outdoors, exploring new places and trying out different activities like hiking. This often includes grandchildren but just hanging out with them, plus other family and friends is the most enjoyable.

I started working with You Me We Plus after completing a Cert 4 in Mental Health and work placement through this amazing company. Being new to this line of work I was unsure if I had what it takes to be able to offer value to an already amazing team of people, but with valuable support and encouragement, I feel I am slowly making a difference in supporting people through many walks of life!
A bit about me: I enjoy watching good movies, reading horror books and have a passion for animals!
I am also the proud Mum of 3 beautiful children who have opened my eyes to the importance of diversity and acceptance, supporting them through the trials and tribulations of Autism. I feel I had the knowledge and empowerment to support others, therefore this has taken me down the path of mental health.
Life takes us down many paths and I can't wait to see where this one takes me!

This has been a dream come true and a wonderful opportunity to work along side people, giving back into community after receiving life changing support in my own recovery, after years of lived experience in AOD issues.
So grateful to be apart of this amazing mob of caring, kind people.

I'm also pretty big on music. I used to play in bands for the better part of a decade and still pick the guitar up whenever I get the itch. I'm also a keen sports fanatic. Played basketball for over 20 years and I still love to hoop today.

With a give it a go attitude, I have trialled my hand at many a trade over my employment history and in 2020 I finished up cheffing to take a year off.
This gave me time to reflect, and I found myself asking, did I really want to go back to a grinding job that served no real purpose other than paying the bills!? Heck no!
I have always had a passion for helping others and that's exactly what I want to do! I want to use my life experience to help others, I want to help make a difference.
In 2021 pursuing my career in the industry, I joined the team at YOU ME WE PLUS.
Having lived experience with mental health, AOD, PTSD family and domestic violence, becoming a support worker was the best choice I ever made, alongside the team at YMW+ I get to help others every day.
There is no greater joy nor reward than to make a fundamental difference in someone's life.

From an early age, I enjoyed the creative arts, and today I paint large florals or portraits from my kitchen art studio at home; I don't need to look far; inspiration is all around me.
There is no poverty of kindness and compassion when I'm at work; it's a way of giving back. I love being a support worker.
