About the Role

Purpose-Driven Work: Make a tangible impact in the lives of people with psychosocial disabilities.

Supportive Environment: Be part of a team that values your skills and experience.

Community Focus: Work close to home within your local region, whether that’s the vibrant Perth metropolitan area, the stunning coastal stretches near Jurien Bay and Mandurah, or the inland charm of Northam.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Brings Experience: Has proven experience in mental health support work – you understand the unique challenges and rewards of this field.
  • Embraces Diversity: Is comfortable and confident working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people – cultural sensitivity is key.
  • Lives Locally: Resides in or close to the Perth metropolitan area, Jurien Bay, Mandurah, or Northam region to ensure strong community ties and ease of travel.
  • Loves the Road: Is willing to travel regularly across our service areas and enjoys the flexibility this brings.
  • Is Prepared: Holds a valid driver’s license, a fully insured vehicle, and the independence to get to where our participants need you.
  • Is Ready to Start: Has an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or is willing to obtain one) and a current First Aid certificate (or is eager to get one).

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • An NDIS clearance already in hand – it’s a big advantage!
  • A connection to community – Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are highly encouraged to apply.

How to Apply

Ready to step into a role where your experience and passion can shine? Send your resume and a brief cover letter telling us why you’re the perfect fit to recruitment@ymwplus.com.au. Please include your location so we know you’re in or near our service areas!

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are warmly encouraged to apply – we value your perspective and contribution.

Let’s work together to support mental health and wellbeing across Western Australia.
